For the purpose of the present Regulation “commission” means the Manitoba Cattle Enhancement Council. In particular, section 2 establishes that on the coming into force of this section the Manitoba Cattle Enhancement Council is dissolved. Furthermore, the appointments of the commission members are terminated and all rights and obligations of the members in relation to or under those appointments are extinguished; the rights and property of the commission are vested in the government; the liabilities and obligations of the commission are assumed by the government; and a legal proceeding or action commenced by oragainst the commission may be continued by or against the government as if it were the commission.
