Abstract This Regulation is composed of 14 articles. Article 1 deals with terms and definitions. Article 2 prohibits to sell ornamental plants and seeds unless in authorized places. Applications for the obtainment of licences for the sale of ornamental plants and seeds shall be presented to the Agricultural Director (art. 3). Licences shall be valid for 1 year (art. 5). Article 6 fixes the period from 1 January to 28 February for the renew of licences. Article 7 fixes fees for the issuance and renewal of licences. Article 9 defines requirements and conditions for ornamental plants and seeds for sale. Article 11 deals with requirements and conditions for places authorized to sell ornamental plants and seeds. Transgressors shall be punished by applying article 19 of the Agriculture Law No. 44 of 2002 (art. 14).
