In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to the prevention of diseases. Section 3 establishes that to prevent the spread of diseases in domestic game farm animals, the Minister may designate diseases that adversely affect the health of such animals; and to prevent the importation of diseased domestic game farm animals, the Minister may establish and impose import restrictions or protocols for the importation of such animals, their semen and embryos.
