Abstract

The present Regulations provide for the enactment of the Diseases of Animals Act. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to the prevention of diseases. Section 3 establishes that to prevent the spread of diseases in domestic game farm animals, the Minister may designate diseases that adversely affect the health of such animals; and to prevent the importation of diseased domestic game farm animals, the Minister may establish and impose import restrictions or protocols for the
