Abstract

These Regulations control the production, placing on the market and use of feed for any animal that has been prescribed to be stock for purposes of these Regulations and the use of substances of animal origin in fertilizer and disposal of animal waste. The restrictions introduced aim at the reduction of danger of spreading of animal diseases through substances of animal origin. No poultry excreta, meat and bonemeal, or any other protein of animal origin shall be used as animal feed or in animal feed or used as fertilizer on any pasture land or any land to which stock has uncontrolled access. Feed intended for retail shall be labelled in accordance with these Regulations.
