Abstract

This Order modifies Part I of Schedule 2 to the Diseases of Animals (Northern Ireland) Order 1981 by extending the Department's power to slaughter in respect of bovine tuberculosis to: (a) any animals which are affected or suspected of being affected with the disease; and (b) animals (including cattle) and poultry which have been exposed to the possibility of infection with that disease, whether by contact with affected or suspected animals or otherwise.
