Abstract

These Regulations consist of VII parts divided into 22 articles: Part I-Preliminary, Part II-Stock traceability manager and other support personnel, Part III-Stock traceability manager and other support personnel, Part IV-Identification of animals, animal identification devices and manner of tagging animals, Part V-Control of movement of imported animals, Part VI-Management of animals for slaughter and inspection of export slaughter houses and abattoirs, Part VII-General provisions. The aim and purpose of this Regulation are to appointa stock traceability manager and other personnel, able to register the animals, the owners of the animal and of the holdings. Moreover, the Regulations discipline the management of animals for slaughter and inspection of export slaughter houses and abattoirs. The last part of the Regulations regards the general provisions with a focus on product traceability, information security, disclosure of official information and an article on offences and penalties.
