Abstract

This Order implements the provisions of Commission Decision 2001/208/EC concerning certain protection measures with regard to foot and mouth disease in France. The Order places restrictions on the importation of live animals of the bovine, ovine, caprine or porcine species or other biungulate from France or through any place in France and on importation of fresh or frozen meat of animals from the restricted areas (defined in the Order) or through any place in the restricted areas. Restrictions are also placed on the importation of meat products, milk and milk products, semen, ova or embryos, and hides and skins.
