It outlines channels for public interest disclosure, including disclosure to heads of public bodies and concerned public bodies, as well as to the mass media. The Regulation also specifies the duties and responsibilities of those who receive public interest disclosures, including registering the information, keeping records confidential, and conducting investigations. Public interest disclosure shall be made to the following concerned officials of the public bodies: 1) if the disclosure is related to the health or safety of an individual or the public, to the Minister of Health; 2) if the disclosure is related to the well-being of the environment, to the Minister of the Environment, Forest Development and Climate Change; 3) if the disclosure is related to any other serious danger, to the head of the appropriate public body.
