The Coordinator shall coordinate urgently the implementation of the Provisions of the National Disaster Preparedness Response Plan to meet the threatened disaster and in particular shall convene the meeting of the National Advisory Committee and other meetings, inform the public, set in motion the procedures for the manning of Emergency Operations Centres to meet the threatened disaster and disaster relief aid, etc. Every public officer shall cooperate with the National Coordinator in the discharge of any responsibilities assigned to that officer under the National Disaster Preparedness Response Plan and in the implementation of the procedures under that plan.
