Abstract

This Ordinance of the contains rules relating to the prevention and mitigation of Disasters in Aruba. It establishes the Disasters Council and a Disaster Relief Office, requires a general Disaster Plan to be drafted and empowers the Minister of general affairs and the Minister of responsible for disaster prevention and mitigation to take measures for the prevention and mitigation of disasters. For each disaster a specific plan shall be developed.
