Abstract Management of beavers shall take separately for each watercourse. The municipalities concerned are responsible to work out beaver management and conservation policies taking into account the stock of beavers, and municipalities areas of which are together in a beaver areas shall cooperate for this purpose (sect. 1). Section 2 contains definitions. The opening of the season shall be fixed by the county official on request of municipalities (sect. 3). Licences are released by the municipalities pursuant to section 4. Municipalities also establish hunting quotas in accordance with rules laid down in section 6. The remaining sections concern hunting and quotas in areas which cover more than one municipality and the role of the county official in such circumstance.
