Abstract This Directive is composed of 2 articles and 2 Lists. Article 1 deal with terms and definitions. Article 2 defines contagious and epidemic animal diseases contained in lists (A) and (B). List (A) contains the high dangerous diseases such as Foot and Mouth Disease and Lumpy Skin Disease etc. List (B) contains cattle diseases such as (BSE, Bovine Babesiosis etc.), transferable and movable diseases with economic and social effects as well as on the public health such as (Anthrax, Rabies and Trichinellosis etc.), sheep and goat diseases such as (Maedi Visna, Salmonellosis etc.), equine diseases like (Equine piroplasmosis, Horse Pox and the like), bird diseases such as (Duck Virus Hepatitis, Marek’s Disease etc.), rabbit disease like (Tularaemia and Rabbit Haemorrhagic), fish diseases such as ( Piscirickettsipsis, Spring Viraemia of Carp and the like), mollusc diseases like (Bonamiosis, Mikrocytosis etc), bee diseases like(Acariosis of bees, Varrosis etc) and crustacean diseases like (Taura Syndrome, White Spot Disease etc.).
