Abstract This Directive is composed of 19 articles. Articles 1 and 2 deal with terms and definitions. Article 3 decrees the establishment of the Licensing, Registration and Control Committee of Poultry Farms at the Agricultural Departments in all provinces. Establishment and enlargement of farms is shall be authorized by the Minister of Agriculture (art. 4). Establishment of farms for poultry should be built outside the planning map of Amman Municipality and other municipalities’ councils (art. 6). Articles 6 and 7 fixes distances and areas of farms. Articles 9 and 10 defines requirements and conditions necessary for the establishment of poultry farms and poultry incubators. Farm owners shall keep production registers and sanitary registers (art. 12). Articles 15 and 16 pertain to validity and renewal of licences. Article 17 contains offences and penalties.
