Abstract This Directive is composed of 2 articles. Article 1 deals with terms and definitions. Article 2 amends article 8 of Directive No. Z/18 by adding the following sentence: “issuing or renewal of licences for any feed factory or any place for feed sale shall be prohibited unless the factories or places are under the control of an agrarian engineer specialized in animal production, agricultural processing or food processing”. It shall also be prohibited to grant licences to feed additive factories or to places that sell feed additives unless they are under the control of a veterinary surgeon or agrarian engineer specialized in animal productions.
