Abstract This Directive is composed of 17 articles. Articles 1 and 2 deal with terms and definitions. Article 3 prohibits the importation, manufacturing and sale of fertilizers and plant growing regulators before being registered according to provisions of this Directive. Article 4 provides for the general registration of simple chemical fertilizers and compound chemical fertilizers listed in Annexes 1 and 2 provided in Directive No. Z/32. Articles 5-7 pertains to registration’s applications and registration’s measures. Article 8 defines requirements and conditions for the importation and exportation of fertilizers and plant growing regulators. Registration’s applicants shall provide samples for analysis (art. 9). Article 11 fixes registration fees. Articles 13-15 deal with the renew of the registration, change of names of fertilizers or regulators and with the revocation of the registration.
