Abstract This Directive is composed of 14 articles. Articles 1 and 2 deal with terms and definitions. Article 3 decrees the establishment of the Mariculture and Aquaculture Licensing, Registering and Controlling Committee in all Agricultural Departments in all provinces. The establishment of mariculture and aquaculture should be realized after a previous authorization by the Ministry of Agriculture (arts. 4 to 6). Article 8 defines requirements and conditions for the establishment of mariculture and aquaculture. Article 9 imposes upon mariculture and aquaculture breeders to keep a register in order to facilitate the control and inspection. Article 11 provides for licences renew.
