Abstract This Directive is composed of 16 articles. Articles 1 and 2 deal with terms and definitions. Article 3 decrees the establishment of the Licensing Committee for Processing Manufacturies for Poultry and Animal Slaughtering Lefts at the Ministry of Agriculture by a resolution of the Minister. Article 4 decrees the establishment of the Control Committee for Processing Manufacturies for Poultry and Animal Slaughtering Lefts by a resolution of the Agriculture Department Head in the provinces. Article 5 deals with requirements for the establishment of the Processing Manufacturies for Poultry and Animal Slaughtering Lefts. Articles 7-9 deal with areas destined for the aforementioned factories and obligatory distances from farms. Articles 10 and 11 list define technical requirements necessary for the establishment of the aforesaid factories and with prohibited activities in them. Article 14 decrees the obligation to keep a technical register by factory owners for eventual control or sample analysis. Article 15 contains offences and penalties.
