Abstract

This Directive applies only to Norwegian vessels fishing by means of purse seine in the Norwegian zone north of 65° N inside a 12 nautical mile limit. The Director of Fisheries may allow for fishing with purse seine bags with square meshes whole or parts of areas closed because of excessive mixing of undersized fish. Section 3 specifies requirements for the composition and installation of purse seine bags. (6 sections)
