Abstract

This Directive requires a user to employ the specified risk management strategy starting from the making, through all stages of experimentation to getting the advance informed agreement from the Environmental Protection Authority of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia for the intended use of the modified organism. The Directive sets out control mechanisms for various uses of imported or locally-produced modified organisms and vectors, including animals and plants.
