Abstract The sorting grate with a distances of not more that 19 mm between the ribs shall be installed on trawlers diagonally and in such a way that all sides of the grate shall be fixed to the trawl. Section 3 concerns the outflow of fish. Standard grates shall not be larger than 1,5 meters and shall be inclined at an angle of not more than 50°.
