The Directive entered into force on 31 October 2009.

Abstract

This Directive lays down measures aimed at reducing the amount of petrol vapour emitted to the atmosphere during the refuelling of motor vehicles at service stations. It sets out requirements to be met by equipment of service stations and further provides for minimum level of petrol vapour recovery.
