Abstract: These provisions amend Directive 2006/66/EC on batteries and accumulators and waste batteries and accumulators. The amendments regard the implementing powers which are conferred on the European Community Commission. In particular, the amendments deal with the methodology to be followed for the calculation of annual sales of portable batteries and accumulators, registration of procedures and labelling.
