Abstract: This Directive makes rules on undesirable substances in products intended for animal feed. It applies without any prejudice to the provisions laid down in Directive 70/524/EEC on additives in feedingstuffs, Directive 96/25/EC on the marketing of compound feedingstuffs, Directive 82/471/EEC on certain products used in animal nutrition, Directive 93/74/EEC on feedingstuffs intended for particular nutritional purposes and Community legislation relating to veterinary matters in connection with public health and animal health.
