Abstract

This Chapter of the Revised Code of Washington (RCW) concerns diking, drainage, and sewerage improvement districts. Specifically, it provides extensive list of rules for their operation. Some of the contained provisions relate to eminent domain; levy for preliminary expenses, construction of improvements; payment of assessments; districts in two or more counties; waters developed, defined, disposal of; waters developed, contracts for use and sale; waters developed, application for use; drainage bonds owned by state, cancellation of interest and assessments, levy omitted; merger of improvement district with irrigation district; sewerage improvement districts located in counties with populations of from forty thousand to less than seventy thousand become water­sewer districts.
