Abstract

The Development Brigade Corporation is developed under section 2 as a body corporate. The objectives of the Corporation shall be to engage in agricultural and other business activities for the purpose of providing training and skills development opportunities to unemployed persons and such other persons as the Minister may determine by notice in the Gazette. For purposes of achieving its objects the Corporation may, among other things, establish or acquire and carry on or participate in any business activity connected with agriculture, manufacturing, construction or water supply and acquire, sell or lease land (sect. 4). The affairs of the Corporation shall be managed and controlled by a Board of Directors.
