This Order shall take effect 15 days after its publication in a newspaper of national circulation and submission to the Office of the National Administrative Registry.
Abstract

This DENR is enacted in light of the policy of the State to provide the full protection and the advancement of the right of the people to a balanced and healthful ecology in accord with the rhythm and harmony of nature. The guidelines are promulgated to adopt the identified climate change responsive indicators for the DENR priority programs, identify the corresponding targets and programs, define the responsibilities of bureaus, regional offices and concerned offices in mainstreaming climate change in the DENR priority programs and objectives, and to determines the needed actions or interventions to enhance and institutionalise mainstreaming of climate change. This Administrative Order consists of 10 Sections and 3 Annexes as follow: Basic policy (1); Objectives (2); Scope and coverage (3); Definitions of terms (4); Ensuring climate-responsiveness of the DENR priority programs (5); Adaption of the climate responsive outcome and output indicators (6); Roles and responsibilities of the offices in mainstreaming, cascading and institutionalising climate change concerns in the DENR priority programs and projects (7); Separability clause (8); Repealing clause (9); Effective clause (10).
