Abstract

This Notice of the Minister of Environmental Affairs and Tourism, made under section 42(2)(e) of the National Environmental Management Act, 1998 provides for the delegation of powers and duties on issuing of permits authorising restricted activities involving listed threatened or protected, alien or invasive species to the Director-General of the National Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism or any functionary acting in that position. The power includes the power to subdelegate.
