Abstract

Provisions of Chapter I define the scope and application sphere of the Act. Furthermore they contain definitions and contain general requirements regarding the breeding of game. The Decree is concerned with the proper functioning of breeding operations and the preservation of natural resources and biodiversity. Chapter II specifies which animals may be held in captivity and reared without a special authorization of the wildlife authorities. Chapter III contains conditions for access to other rearing operations that require a special authorization. Requirements regarding fences areas can be found in Chapter IV. Miscellaneous provisions can be found in Chapter V and Chapter VI deals with offences and prescribes the date of entry into force.
