Abstract

This Decree implements EU legislation pursuant to Attachments of the EEA Agreement. The aim of the Decree is to prevent the spreading of infectious diseases in relation with the importation of bees and bee products. Exporters exporting to another EEA country shall be registered with the State Animal Health Control Agency (sect. 3). Section 4 lays down conditions for the exportation of living bees, section 5 contains conditions for the exportation of bee products, and section 6 for bee seed and embryos. Section 9 places restrictions on the importation of living bees, bee seed and embryos, and apiculture products. (15 sections)
