Abstract

This Decree of the Department of Agriculture supplements for Sweden specified Community legislation in the field of ecological production in agriculture. It appoints competent authorities for purposes of Community legislation, e.g. the Food Authority for matters concerning food, the State Agricultural Agency for matters concerning production and handling of agricultural products and the Consumer protection Agency for matters regarding marketing of ecological products. Other provisions concern control of documents and products and the accreditation of control organs as foreseen in article 27.4 of Council Regulation (EC) No. 834/2007.
