Abstract The scope of this Decree is to prohibit placing on the market or importation in Norway of food products specified in article 1 if they are made of animals that are reared in Belgium in the period after 14 January 1999. Exception is made for products of animals slaughtered after 20 September 1999, and for products which a certificate demonstrating that the products do not contain dioxin or PCB at levels specified in Schedule 1, can be submitted. Products include fresh (poultry) meat, other fresh meat products such as gelatine or offal, and food products of animal origin containing more than 2 percent of animal fat.
