Abstract This Decree seeks to prevent spreading of Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) by prohibiting importation of alive bovine animals, animal's embryos, products of animals (bovine) origin, as well as feedstuffs of animal origin. The prohibition shall apply to countries listed in the Article 2. The importation of milk and dairy products, animal's seed for artificial insemination, feedstuffs for cats and dogs (bovine origin) shall be permitted as well.
