Abstract This Decree applies to all ships in inland waters and territorial waters of Norway. Section 4 prohibits the discharge of waste water (defined in section) in inland waters. No existing or new ship with a waste water tank shall discharge waste water within 300 meters from the coast and existing ships without a tank shall not do so after 3 years transitional period.
