Abstract This Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture, which is composed of 16 articles, lays down: (a) veterinary requirements for the environment of bees and bee colonies, for their care and protection against infections; (b) measures to control and prevent the spread of certain dangerous bee diseases; (c) the scope of the inspection of bee colonies with disassembly of the bee work and keeping records of the inspector of bee colonies; (d) the procedure for applying compensation for costs and losses incurred as a result of the implementation of extraordinary veterinary measures ordered to control some of the dangerous infections and diseases transmissible from animals to humans.
