Abstract This Decree, adopted by the government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, determines the list of traditional and old crafts and the conditions for their performance. The list of traditional and old crafts by types, which can be performed in accordance with the Law on the classification of activities in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is attached to this text. To perform traditional and old trades, it is necessary to have a secondary school education of the third or fourth level or a school education of a higher level than prescribed. If a special regulation, depending on the activity, prescribes at least elementary school, appropriate vocational training, or additional conditions for performing the activity, these conditions must be met. Craftsmen who perform traditional and old trades may take a master's exam in front of a commission established by a secondary vocational school or adult education institution, which has been verified for these jobs in accordance with current regulations from the field of upbringing and education, in cooperation with the Canton Chamber of Crafts. Exceptionally, craftsmen who have been granted permission to perform traditional and old trades before the date of entry into force of the text, may continue to perform their trades, even though they do not meet the required school education requirement.
