Abstract In view of the importance for human health of the quality of water intended for human consumption, this Decree of the Ministry of Health, which is composed of 11 articles and 15 Annexes, lays down provisions concerning irradiation of people from drinking water, natural mineral water and spring water. Annex 1 specifies the frequency of sampling drinking water for the control of radiological indicators of the quality of drinking water. Radiological indicators of the quality of drinking water, their indication values and threshold values are given in Annex 2. The procedure for determination of radiological indicators of the quality of drinking water is set out in Annex 3. Art. 4 and 5 establish requirements for the quality of natural mineral water, and art. 6 and 7 provide requirements for spring water quality.
