Abstract This Decree, based on the provisions of the Slovenian Agricultural and food products promotion Act, determines the inclusion of the meat production and processing sector for beef, pork and poultry meat in the implementation of the promotion of the meat production and processing sector for the period 2023-2025 and the percentage of production that must be achieved to start the promotion of the "selected quality" scheme. Promotion of the "selected quality" scheme is carried out if the ministry responsible for agriculture, forestry and food determines that the "selected quality" scheme includes at least 10% of the annual production of beef, at least 10% of the annual production of pork and at least 10% of the annual production of poultry meat in the Republic of Slovenia, which is published on the central website of the state administration.
