Abstract

This Decree of the Ministry of Health, which is composed of 17 articles, lays down: (a) rules of good cultivation practice for the cultivation of cannabis plants for medicinal use; (b) rules for safe storage and other security measures for securing premises used for cannabis plants; (c) method and scope of recording activities related to cultivation, harvesting and processing of cannabis plants for medicinal use and disposal of plant waste. The rules of good cultivation practice include requirements for: quality management system, staff and their training, hygienic standards, premises, documentation, propagation material, cultivation, harvesting, basic processing into an intermediate cannabis product for medical use, packaging, storage, and security of the nursery.
