Abstract This Decree carries into effect obligations resulting from the EEA Agreement with the European Union, and implements Council directive no. 92/102/EC. The provisions concern the keeping of a databank on animals, and a identity card and health passport for each animal, earmarking and registration of each animal. Section 9 specifies data regarding individual animals to be included. Chapter III contains provisions which regulate marking of specific anìmals. e.g. pigs bred in Norway, lambs, and poultry, imported animals.
