Abstract

This Decree of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, which is composed of 11 articles and three Annexes, establishes statutory management requirements and good agricultural and environmental conditions for farming for the implementation of legislation of the European Community. Statutory management requirements are the minimum requirements of the environment, identification and registration of animals, human health, animal and plant health and animal welfare standards that are specified in the list of statutory management requirements set out in Annex 1. Good agricultural and environmental conditions are the minimum requirements for the management of agricultural land. The standard of good agricultural and environmental conditions is specified in Annex 2. The institution responsible for the implementation of these provisions is the Agency for Agricultural Markets and Rural Development.
