Abstract This Decree of the Ministry of Health is composed of three articles. Medico-economic analysis of diet foods which is not included in the list of dietary foods fully paid or partially paid by the public health insurance, includes: (a) epidemiological data; (b) clinical benefit of therapy; (c) compare the estimated costs of the proposed therapy dietetic foods with estimated costs of the current therapeutic approach; (d) type of pharmaco-economic analysis of the rationale selection and its results; (e) results of analysis of the budgetary implications of public health insurance for the given calendar year and the following five calendar years; (f) estimated dietary consumption of foods in the given calendar year and the following five calendar years, expressed in number and size of prescribed packages; (g) data sources, including the methodology and the case of extrapolation and its justification, discounting and sensitivity analysis; (h) the amount of reimbursement of diet foods paid by health insurance in foreign countries.
