Abstract This Decree, which was prepared by the Ministry of Environment in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Health, lays down, in accordance with European Union legislation: (a) technical conditions for the use of treated sludge on agricultural land; (b) concentration limits of selected hazardous substances in soil; (c) heavy metal concentration limits that may be added to agricultural land for ten years; (d) concentration limits of selected hazardous substances in sludge for the use on agricultural land; (e) microbiological criteria for the use of sludge; (f) sludge and soil analysis methods; (g) content of the sludge application program; (h) requirements for verification of the effectiveness of sludge treatment technology; (i) conditions for the storage of treated sludge and conditions for the temporary storage of treated sludge before use.
