This text entered into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette (published on 19 March 2021), and it shall apply from 1 April 2021.
Abstract

This Decree, as in relation with the provisions of the Serbian Veterinary Law, regulates the classification and procedure for the improvement of facilities for the collection, processing and destruction of animal by-products and derived products, in order to improve necessary conditions in such facilities. This text shall not apply to establishments approved for the export of animal by-products and derived products to the European Union. Facilities for the collection, processing and destruction of animal by-products and derived products, depending on the degree of compliance with European Union regulations, and based on the assessment of the Commission, are classified in article 4. The improvement of facilities for the collection, processing and destruction of animal by-products and derived products is achieved by improving the overall conditions of related facilities, and by applying the requirements and standards of the European Union.
