Abstract

The Science, Technology and Environment Office (STENO) is an organization under the management of the Prime Minister's Office, for the purpose of promoting the research, management, development and use of science, technology and environmental management (art. 1). Main tasks of the Science, Technology and Environment Office are: to study and elaborate programs and policies, to promote and establish favorable conditions for the implementation of the plans and research at local level, to disseminate information, to cooperate with foreign and international organizations. Further provisions concern the rights, organizational structure and work methods of the Science, Technology and Environment Office.
