Abstract

This Decree concerns maximum income allowed for farmers, foresters, hunters, reindeer breeders and fishermen to be eligible for financial assistance under the Skolt Development Act. The scope of the Act is to improve the living standards and the opportunity of earning of "skolt" people (defined in section 5) involved in agriculture or forestry in areas specified in section 2 in Northern Finland in proximity of the Russian border. Incentives may be used for agriculture, fisheries, and forestry.
