Abstract

This Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development regulates certain issues related to the regulation of natural sweetener products. The quota for beet sugar and isoglucose allocated to Hungary is set out in Annex III to Council Regulation set out in Annex II to this Decision. The allocation of the national quota among quota holders is set out in Section 1. The licence holder may have a quota within the limits set by this Regulation and Community legislation. Following the decision of the European Commission on the reduction of quotas under Article 19 of the Council Regulation, the Minister shall reduce the quota available to the licence holders in proportion to the basic quotas. The powers conferred on Member States by Article 11 of the Council Regulation on the redistribution of national quotas are exercised by the Minister. In the event of termination of the quota licence holder without successor, it will be established a temporary scheme for the restructuring of the sugar industry in the Community and the common agricultural policy.
