This Decree enters into force on 11 January 1995.
Abstract

These Regulations implement, in particular, section 57 of the Meat Hygiene Act which provides for control of importation and exportation of meat imported from countries outside of the European Communities. Section 3 provides for import permits to be granted by the Food and Veterinary Department of the Ministry. Section 4 lists various products of which the importation is prohibited. As far as requirements for imported red meat, poultry meat, rabbit meat, meat preparations, meat, intestines and animal fats products are concerned. This Decree refers to those prescribed by specified Directives of the EC Council. Sections 12 to 16 provide for importation of meat and meat products for particular purposes and transit of such products. Section 18 appoints Border controls shall be carried out in accordance with instructions of the Ministry (sect. 18). (19 sections)
