Abstract This Decree places restrictions on fishing for salmon and sea-trout and other fishing in freshwater, brackish water, and sea areas. Article 3 formulates restrictions for fishing in all areas. Article 4 concerns only fishing in marine areas, whereas article 5 contains rules for fishing in the Torne river. Restrictions are placed on fishing with respect to use of gear, use of gear during certain periods of the year, and use of gear during certain periods of the year in specified areas.
