Abstract

This Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, based on paragraphs 1 and 3 of section 6 of the Animal Breeding Act, provides rules for specific activities that require permits for insemination of cattle under § 6 of Act. For purposes of preventing animal diseases, requirements shall be observed in the collection, processing and storage of semen and placing of semen on the market. The requirements concern, among other things, semen collection centres, quarantine and semen storage centres.
